Getting to Amorgos: Your Travel Guide
Getting to our sanctuary on Amorgos is all part of the journey to slowing down. Because the island has no airport, it remains beautifully untouched and peaceful. Here is the easiest way to plan your travel:
Step 1: Arrive By Air
Book a flight into one of these entry airports:
• Athens International Airport (ATH): The most popular option with daily connections.
• Mykonos (JMK) or Santorini (JTR) Airports: Ideal options if you want a shorter ferry ride to the island.
Step 2: Travel By Sea (Ferries)
Connect from your airport to the ferry ports. We recommend using Ferryhopper to check live schedules and book tickets:
• From Athens: Depart from Piraeus Port or Rafina Port. High-speed ferries take about 5–6 hours, while conventional ferries offer a scenic 8-hour cruise.
• From Mykonos or Santorini: High-speed SeaJets ferries take roughly 1.5 to 3 hours to arrive at Amorgos.
Step 3: Complimentary Port Transfer
Amorgos has two ports: Katapola and Aegiali. Whichever port you arrive at, our team will be waiting for you with a shuttle van to drive you straight to the 5-star hotel! (Please email us your ferry arrival times at least 7 days before the retreat).
