Hi, I’m Gina
My background
I qualified as a personal trainer and sports masseur in 2004, then worked for Sony BMG, training and travelling on tour with their clients around the world. Later, I moved to Qatar and worked as a personal Pilates trainer to the Qatari first family.
Along the way, I trained in Reformer and Mat Pilates with STOTT, attended Alan Herdman’s reformer workshop and completed an intensive pregnancy Pilates course with Body Control. When I’m not leading a retreat, I teach group and private classes at Tempo301 in London.
Why I created these retreats
I started my own Pilates practice in 2013. Over time, I realised how valuable it is to step away from everyday distractions and make room for focused practice.
These retreats bring together people with an established Pilates practice in beautiful locations, with time to move, build strength and rest. They’re a chance to give your practice more attention than a busy week usually allows.
Who they’re for
You should already be comfortable with the basics of reformer Pilates. If you’re new to reformer Pilates, a few introductory classes may be enough to help you feel ready. Get in touch before booking and we can get you prepared.
We build on what you already know, refining technique, working on strength and giving attention to the details that can be difficult to explore in a weekly class.
Expect to be pushed a bit, in a supportive environment, with some banter along the way.
Interested in joining us?
I’d love to hear from you. Let me know which retreat has caught your eye and a little about your Pilates experience, and I’ll get back to you with more details and how to book.
If you’re unsure which retreat is right for you or whether you’re ready, I’m happy to help.
